Can we truly call ourselves a civilized society while allowing fellow humans to live on the streets? As the election approaches, we find ourselves pondering societal issues that remain unresolved regardless of which party is in power. We don’t claim to have the answers, but we hope that one day our elected leaders will adopt a more humane approach.
