Sass Art

Take a deep breath, then open yourself up to the world of Sass Art:

What fantasy would you like to make a reality?

Not needing money to live.

How does one get more sass in their lives?

You gotta believe in you and fight for yourself. Sass was literally born out of my experience of not feeling seen or heard from a young age. I struggled with direct confrontation so I would express an attitude instead. It was sort of a warning, like, "are you sure this is how you want to treat/talk to me?" Standing up for yourself is a good start.

What emotion leads your expressions?

Pain and love simultaneously. I haven't been able to articulate this particular feeling, but there's something about me that wants to be seen and shared. I share my vision for the world, for you. It’s a way for us to feel and exist together. There’s always something about love mixed in. And something about proving my worth. I'm still figuring it out.

Fictional character you wish you could photograph?

Do celebrities count as fictional characters lol? TBH, I'm interested in connecting with real people so I've never imagined photographing someone fictional. I dream about capturing feelings and light most of all.

________ will save the world.

Liberation.

Super power you wished you had?

Most of the superpowers I think about having are heavily influenced by capitalism and the idea of being able to escape it-- So I think about being invisible, so I could steal a bunch of money/items for myself, friends, the community, lol. Or being super smart so I could hack the system.

How can we buy your art?

ATM, you can DM me on Instagram @sasss.world to book a FANTASY photo shoot with me at @durhamfruit. I'm working on selling prints; I just want to be intentional about how!
